More AI, More Work
Article, 5 min

What we all feel is now backed by research. In an eight-month study of a 200-person tech company, researchers found that AI didn’t reduce work. It expanded it. Workers moved faster, took on broader tasks, and stretched their workday without being asked.

Three patterns outlined in the linked article:

  • Everyone becomes a generalist. You build dashboards, analyze data, create visuals, write code — tasks you would have delegated or skipped entirely. Work that once required a specialist gets absorbed.
  • Logging off gets harder. Prompting feels like chatting, so it bleeds into lunch breaks and evenings.
  • Multitasking increases. While AI runs in the background, you switch tabs. The to-do list grows.

Anyone with a bit of tech curiosity can create an app today. And the numbers show it. By late 2025, coding activity on GitHub had risen by 30%, iOS app releases by 55%, and new website registrations by 34%. Even Claude Code, Anthropic’s agentic coding tool, wrote the code for its own follow-up platform, Claude Cowork, showing how far the leap from chatbot to agentic tool has come. This piece explores how these agentic tools are shifting the market from simple chat to actual autonomous work.

Hack your workflow

AI to Slide Deck

Claude now connects directly to Gamma. That means you can go from an AI conversation to a drafted slide deck without leaving your AI chat.

I tried it: asked Claude to turn one of my blog posts into a Gamma presentation. The result is AI-ish, as you’d expect, but it’s a solid starting point when you need to build a deck fast.

Tools & Apps

Private Voice Typing
Productivity

Flowstay is a minimalist voice input app designed for macOS. It uses “Apple Intelligence” to process everything locally, meaning your words and data never leave your computer.
The app auto-detects languages without you needing to change any settings, making it a great choice for privacy-sensitive work where you need to switch between languages quickly. It is currently free to use.

AI Images, Finally Consistent
Design

Google just released Nano Banana 2, and its biggest win is subject consistency. You can finally keep characters and objects identical across a sequence—no more AI “forgetting” details in between. It also adds a “Thinking Level” toggle for better prompt adherence and native 4K support. Read our last blog to see examples of how the previous version handled these challenges.

Website to Markdown
Content

Turn any website content into Markdown. Just enter the URL and you’re done. Copy it wherever you need it. When would you use this? For example, when you want to discuss a piece of content in an AI chat and the design of the page is irrelevant.

One Subscription, All Models
AI Chat

Mono is another AI wrapper that lets you access multiple models under one subscription. It automatically picks the right model for your prompt, so you don’t have to think about it.

The catch: you lose platform-specific features like Claude’s Projects, ChatGPT’s Canvas, or Cowork. If those are part of your workflow, you’ll likely keep a separate subscription anyway. If they’re not, Mono is worth a look.
