We have looked at headless CMS solutions, static site builders, lots of commercial WordPress alternatives… and landed at again at WordPress.
There is lots of fancy and trendy CMSs out there, but for running a blog, newsletter, and agency website with ease of use, WordPress is still a great solution. WordPress does get a bad rap, especially from people in tech, but for running a typical website, you will be fine.

Newsletter / Email Marketing
We migrated from Mailchimp to EmailOctopus.
Analytics
A privacy-friendly website analytics software. We used Google Analytics before, but the launch of GA4 triggered that change.
We appreciate the clean and fresh interface of Fathom, and it provides all the data we need.
