Founded in 2012, our first clients were in the tech/startup space. Our blog played a crucial role in running our agency from the beginning.
Today our blog and newsletter caters to an international audience of content creators, digital marketers, and entrepreneurs with a hands-on mentality. Our agency serves clients from different industries and focuses on B2B marketing.
My name is Rolf Mistelbacher and I am the founder and CEO of Fresh van Root.
I got online for the first time in 1996 and immediately got hooked on building my own web presence. Since then I am following closely how the web evolved and changed how we communicate and do business online.
Early on during these first encounters with the web, I developed a hands-on mentality and a love to geek out.
This passion still drives me today and the experience gained allows me to connect the dots in projects for clients.
Before founding Fresh van Root, I was working at Microsoft in different marketing roles. After leaving Microsoft I jumped in the startup scene, took on some freelance consulting gigs and decided to start my own business in 2012.
I spend most of my non-family time building Fresh van Root. If there’s still time left, I like to go for a run, play tennis or listen to electronic music.
My name is Luca Hammer. I am a Social Media Analyst at Fresh van Root.
In 2013 I began working for Fresh van Root to build up one of Austria’s best tech blogs for students. In 2017 my role changed. Since then I have been helping clients understand what their target groups are talking about online and how to join those conversations.
I am driven by a curiosity about people, tools and how they interact with each other. I studied communication in Vienna and media science in Paderborn.
