Install Hello Theme & Elementor

What we will do is the following:

1. Login to WordPress
2. Install Hello Theme
3. Install Elementor Plugin
4. Take a look at the basic Elementor settings

Get Elementor Pro.

First thing we want to do is install the Elementor Hello Theme, and then install Elementor.

The Elementor Hello Theme was made by the Elementor team to have a lightweight theme that is perfect for building sites with Elementor. Usually themes come with features to style and customize your site’s design (through WordPress Customizr), but if you go with Elementor, you do not need such a theme.

The Elementor Hello Theme is of course for free. 

To install the theme, login to WordPress browse to Appearance – Themes.

Install Elementor Plugin

The Elementor Plugin is free to install via the WordPress Dashboard. Browse to Plugins > Add New, and search for Elementor Hello.

Install Elementor Pro Plugin

To get the most out of this course I recommend getting Elementor Pro.

We will use several of the Pro components throughout this course.

Elementor Pro needs to be bought and downloaded on the Elementor site!

There are difference licenses available, if you start out with your first page, the cheapest plan is all you need.

After you have done, you will be able to download a Zip file.

Browse in your WordPress Dashboard to Plugins > Add New. Now upload the Zip file you just downloaded from the Elementor website.

Now activate the plugin, and add your license key, that you can see in your Elementor account.
